ASAP LOCK SAFETY DEVICE

The ASAP LOCK mobile belay device is designed to simplify safety when working using the rope access method. The device slides freely up and down along the safety rope, repeating all the worker’s movements. In the event of a fall, slip or uncontrolled descent, ASAP LOCK will immediately lock onto the rope and stop the fall. The locking feature allows you to secure the device, reducing the potential depth of a fall. ASAP LOCK is designed for specialists who need to move a lot and make regular transitions from one rope to another. It can be installed on a rope without detaching it from the harness, similar to how a jumar is installed. This minimizes the risk of losing the device when passing intermediate anchor points and speeds up work.

The device must be used with one of the compatible shock absorbers. In addition to being used as a safety device in rope access systems, the device can be used as personal protective equipment on a flexible anchor line.

• Full-time fall protection:

— stops falling, sliding, uncontrolled descent;
- works on a vertical or inclined rope;
- protected from the “panic reflex”. The device will work even if the user clasps it in his hand when it breaks;

• The locking feature allows you to secure the device, reducing the potential fall depth in the event of a fall. In case of strong winds, this function also prevents the rope from blowing out of the device.
• Simple and effective:

— moves freely behind the user up and down;
— easy to install and remove anywhere on the rope;

• Must be used with ASAP'SORBER or ASAP'SORBER AXESS shock absorber.
• The use of a shock absorber reduces the load on the user in the event of a fall, and also allows the safety rope to be removed from the work area. ASAP’SORBER AXESS is designed for use by two users simultaneously during rescue operations by a team (maximum load 250 kg).
